These are all the programs that the new Republican House has proposed cutting. Notice S.S. and the military are *not* on this list.

So my wife was talking with some friends of her's at work. One of them is a devout liberal, and the other behaves as if he is politically agnostic (but leans liberal). As you can imagine, being soundly brainwashed by our illustrious public school system, these guys both believe firmly in evolution. However, I would suggest that they should be open minded, as their youth and liberal tendencies dictate. Not surprisingly (to me anyway), they both said evolution is *fact*. You heard that right. The *theory* of evolution is *fact* now.

I sometimes troll Facebook to see what my liberal friends are talking about. Periodically I come across something so ridiculous that I am compelled to respond. I have to admit that sometimes these people are so uninformed that I feel a little bad debating them... well, OK, not really ;-).

My cousin is the unfortunate circumstance of belonging to a public employee union (against her will, of course). Recently they had an "informational" meeting (translation: indoctrination session) regarding Michigan's Proposition 2, better known to thinking people as the union takover of the state government. Here is her summary of their propaganda, followed by my analysis:

Here is just a very small sample of leftist mainstream media bias I've seen over the past 6 months or so. It's not just how they report either - it's also what they choose to report and not report on. They literally try to engineer the entire narrative. It still amazes me that some people continue to follow mainstream media outlets assuming they are getting an impartial reporting of the news. The bottom line is, most mainstream media outlets lean left at best, and are totally in cahoots with the Obama campaign at worst. Check these out:

The Fourth Ammendment to the Consitution States:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

You know, I'm slowly figuring out why I have suddenly become obsessed with this election. Aside from the obvious reasons, you know, the economy, the stability of our nation, national security, my children's futures... I think it is the complete and utter lack of caution and overabundance of optimism that has infected those who are self-proclaimed Obama-ites.

Jiminy Christmas, where do I start?

Someone needs to go slap some sense into these morons at the Commission on Presidential Debates. They select "undecided" voters from Long Island, New York, and select a CNN commentator to moderate, and they expect us to believe that the whole event isn't an Obama rally? I guess I'm not really surprised at stuff like this anymore, but it still bugs the crap out of me

Remember years ago when Hilary Klinton claimed there was a vast Right Wing Conspiracy? I still have my Rush Limbaugh mug with that phrase on it.

If you saw the Vice Presidential debate, you heard perennial loudmouth Joe Biden question Paul Ryan's example of John F. Kennedy's across the board tax cuts to stimulate growth during his presidency. While it wouldn't be appropriate to compare any of today's politicians to Kennedy, the Romney across the board tax cut plan is quite similar to Kennedy's. Perhaps, like Kennedy, Romney understands that raising taxes on successful small business owners will only hurt their businesses and the jobs they can create.
